1、韩国

在韩国，中秋节非常隆重（韩国人称为“秋夕”），这一天在外工作的人都要回家与父母团圆，所以会出现返乡大潮，首都首尔出城的高速公路一定会大堵特堵。

2、越南

越南的中秋节也是儿童节。这是因为在越南，中秋节之前父母们处于农忙之中，缺少陪伴孩子们的时间，而中秋节就是农忙之后为补偿孩子们所设立的节日。按照当地习俗，家长们会送给孩子们最喜爱的玩具和零食，其中灯笼必不可少。
